Hi, we are Vicky and Nico
High school sweethearts who fell in love in photography class and never put the cameras down.
Vicky was the first to fall in love with photography, and a few years later, Nico jumped in. What started as a shared hobby became a life together, and eventually, a business. We've been doing this for over a decade, documenting weddings, road-tripping with our cameras, and capturing the kind of memories that matter most. The ones tied to people, places, and little in-between moments you don’t want to forget.
The name Vico Collab comes from the first letter of Vicky and the last of Nico. Collab was an add-on that stuck, because it reflects how we work together and how much of what we do is rooted in connection, with each other and with our couples.
When we’re not working, you’ll probably find us off the grid. Hiking, off-roading, or chasing sunsets with our two pups, Dusty and Moose. They’re the most spoiled, well-traveled dogs you’ll ever meet. We’ve even driven cross-country just to make sure they could come along for the ride.
We believe photos should do more than just look nice. They should take you back. When we’re old and gray, it’s the photos that will bring us back to those days. The ones we forgot. The ones we swore we’d always remember. The ones that remind us how it all felt.
We plan as much as we can, but we also know how to roll with the unexpected. Nico usually handles the logistics (he’s the one with a map and a backup map), and Vicky brings the calm, creative energy to every shoot. We both agree on one thing: nothing beats a crispy Coke on a wedding day.
